Titus arrived into the Mastin's Mutts clan in October of 2017 as a rescue and left us with a huge void on May 17th just as quickly as we fell in love with him.
He was the kindest most goodnest happy boy. We are not sure how long he spent on earth but the time that we did have with him we will forever cherish. Our hearts are shattered, unfortunately we’ve felt this pain, sting and emptiness before but it’s never easy but we remember the wise words of “a dog gives us many great days and one horrible empty day” and smiling through the tears talking about our baby Titus and looking at pictures remembering all of those great days.
T was always smiling, always happy, always up for a belly rub and of course ready to accept any food offering you gave him; chowing down anything in a matter of seconds and then looking at you with those big beautiful brown eyes asking for more. He was daddy’s best cuddler and melted into his arms almost nightly. If you were lucky enough to meet Titus, you knew he was the goodest boy; you may have even been lucky enough to steal a wet kiss.
Car rides won’t be the same without T hanging his head out the back passenger window and just loving life; he put the miles on with his head out that window and lived for his daily rides. It won’t be the same passing “puppies” and Tite getting excited trying to call his new friends closer or listening to which new bark he had that night. It wasn’t the same last night not hearing the click of his toenails on the floor or the wet nose wanting into bed to cuddle.
Titus we hope you ran across the rainbow bridge, pain free and with your little zoomie hop and were greeted by Beau as just a mastiff and his bully are together again.
Our dear sweet boy, thank you for every day you gave us and we will miss you beyond measure, until we meet again… love, mommy and daddy.
