Spike Herschman

Spike Lee Herschman passed away peacefully surrounded by is loving parents and sister Nala at his home on Monday, February 3, 2024. 

Spike was such a gentle, kind, and loving dog. He would always greet you when you walked in the door with one of his many toys in his mouth that he would want to show you that he was proud of. However, there was one toy he was proud of the most and that was his Thomas the train pillow pet that he would take everywhere with him. He loved that pillow pet. You would see him many times taking a nap resting his head on it or having a firm grip on it making sure no one was going to take that from him. 

Spike loved going for rides, walks, and enjoyed his time out in the boat. He loved his McDonald’s French Fries and his pup cups from Dairy Queen. His favorite past time when it was nice out was relaxing outside watching all the neighbors. We like to say he was the “Sheriff” of the neighborhood. 

Spike will be missed by his parents Aric and Kesi and sister Nala. Grandparents,Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. 

Thank you to our loving neighbors, family and friends that have always helped take such good care of him as he loved you all so much. 

Spike was greeted at the Rainbow Bridge by his Sister Miley and his two friends Zoe and Diesel. 

Thank you to Waseca Vet Clinic for being outstanding staff and taking such good care of Spike. And Thank you Parker Kohl Funeral Home for your quick immediate response and taking care of Spike and making us feel important that he is not only just a pet but part of our family member. 

We will miss you our handsome boy.
