Monet Kielmeyer

Monet was born in Faribault, MN on May 28th, 2004.  She died on February 6th, 2021.  She lived across the street from where she was born her entire life with me.

Monet was a soft and gentle friend who came into my life to take care of me for 16 1/2 years.  She made sure I took walks, did my gardening, ate healthy, and got plenty of sleep.  She loved riding in her car seat, playing with her many toys, and everyone she met.

She and my friend Fran, took me to Florida to escape the winter for the past 7 years.  Fran died on Jan. 5th, Monet on Feb. 6th.  Now, they are together again and I miss them both.

Monet's professional life included posing for the Mural Societies 2012 mural of the Pet Parade.  It is on the bandshell at Central Park.  She sits proudly in a little red wagon watching us all go on with life.

She leaves behind many adoring fans and her people sisters Krista and Keri Jo, and me, her best friend Gail Kielmeyer.
