“Mojo was a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, a breed known for their loyalty, affection and their gentleness with children. Mojo was adopted by my husband and I in April of 2013 at the Faribault Humane Society. He was only 3 years old.
At this time, my husband and I were just a couple of 19 year olds in a brand new relationship eager to start our life together. Going to the humane society that day, we had no intention of adopting a dog until we saw Mojo. He was truly one of a kind. Smiling from ear to ear, wagging his tail like crazy and immediately approaching us as if to say “There you are! I’m ready to go home!” Fast forward 12 years and Mojo was there through it all with us. The move of our permanent home in 2014, our engagement, our wedding, and the birth of our two daughters.
Mojo loved kids, he always gave them kisses and loved to be surrounded and pet by them. He also loved the dog park and rolling around in every and any mud puddle he could find. Mojo loved tennis balls and chewing them up into tiny pieces. He was the best cuddle buddy and loved to sleep on top of mom’s feet at night to keep them warm. He loved car rides, playing with his sister Nova, and especially loved his grandma Brenda who always spoiled him rotten.
Mojos loss is profound as my husband and I don’t really know what life is without Mojo since he has been here since the beginning, but we know he is at peace. We know he crossed that rainbow bridge and is playing with his buddy Tank, where it is a warm spring day and he has plenty of mud puddles to roll around in.
We love you Mojo. Thank you for being the best dog we could have ever asked for.
Love,
Mom, Dad, Laney, Luna, and Nova.”
