Humphrey had a rough start in life. When he was offered to us from a vet who had found him in Northfield he was flea and tick infested and had worms. No one was sure he would make it but make it he did. Although life in a crowded house had it's own problems he never adjusted to being in a corner and would become afraid so he came to the country which he really seemed to enjoy. He never took off but still had that fear of being trapped by people. Otherwise he was quite the big baby. He was even run over by a truck and survived his injuries that were serious but he allowed us to treat him and change dressings, ointments, and pills (he hated any pill). He learned to trust and was our constant buddy out here. He is dearly missed.
