Never Apart & Together Forever:

Bella and Shizzy peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge together on May 24, 2023 holding each other.

They were truly a bonded pair.  We rescued Bella when she was just over one year old from a tattoo parlor.  A few weeks later, we purchased Shizzy from a local breeder and brought her home at 10 weeks of age.  She was indeed the runt of the litter, so she was a very small shih-tzu.  Bella took to her as if she were her own puppy and their journey started from there.

They loved to tug on their little stuffed toys together and chase each other around the house and out in the yard.  They were also very cuddly little girls and loved to sit in my lap in the recliner in the evening and watch tv.  It wouldn't be long, and they would both be snoring away.  We often shared popcorn during movies.  Their favorite treat!

As time went on, they also became our camping companions.  They loved to go camping and knew the minute we would start loading the camper, they were ready to roll.  So full of energy and fun little dogs.

The past 2 years, they became my co-workers as I started working from home.  They each had their favorite spot in the office and always enjoyed their breaks with me.  They were on my heels all day long.

The Memories are endless and will live on forever in our hearts.

Bella and Shizzy were my heart dogs to say the least.  They both brought so much unconditional love into my life and quickly became my emotional support babies.  Fern and I were both so blessed to have them in our lives for 16+ years.  They were my kids and now I am missing a big piece of my heart.

Thank you, Bella and Shizzy for all the comfort you brought me, for always being there for me, we went through a lot together.  Also, for allowing Fern and I to live in your house!  You two were the best little dogs I could have ever asked for!

Happy trails on your new journey now.  Run and play hard, chase the squirrels and bunnies, pain free, and know that you will always be in our hearts and greatly missed.  We love you girls!

We would like to thank Heartland Animal Hospital of Owatonna for the wonderful care they gave our babies over the years as well as PK for Pets for their compassion and empathy in honoring our wishes.
